Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Ladybird School of Gymnastics and its licencors.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

FEES

​

Fees are to be paid in cash only.

​

Fees must be paid in full.

​

Fees are paid after trial session.

​

Fees are due on or before the 12th session.

​

Fees are none refundable.

​

No discounts of any kind are available

 

Fees are not transferable to other people.

 

Fees run for a consecutive 12 weeks and can not be paused or spilt for any reason.

 

Fees cannot be paid on a weekly basis for any reason

​

Note:

summer holidays

​

We are running through the summer holidays therefore the 12 weeks also run through.

If you are coming towards the end of your 12 weeks and are going away there are 2 options.

  1. Make payment for the next term and miss the days whilst you are on holiday.

  2. Stop the sessions when your 12 weeks comes to an end go on holiday. Then when you return start the 12 weeks from the first session back.

No weekly payment option is available.

​

Your space is not guaranteed until payment has been received. 

​

JEWELLERY

​

No jewellery should be worn at any-time.

​
Responsibility

​

Gymnastics by its nature can involve a certain element of risk, which may result in bodily injury to the participant.
Gymnastics also requires the Coach to perform some manual spotting which involves direct physical contact and which is designed to assist the participant in the safe performance of the program skills.
Coaches are not responsible for the children before and after class please make sure that your child is being dropped off and picked up on time. A child who is late maybe refused access to class.
Ladybird School of Gymnastics are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Anti – bullying policy

​

 The club will:

 

  • recognise its duty of care and responsibility to safeguard all participants from harm

  • promote and implement this anti-bullying policy

  • seek to ensure that bullying behaviour is not accepted or condoned

  • require all members of the club/organisation to be given information about, and sign up to, this policy

  • take action to investigate and respond to any alleged incidents of bullying

  • encourage and facilitate children and young people to play an active part in developing and adopting a code of conduct to address bullying

  • ensure that coaches are given access to information, guidance and/or training on bullying

 

 Each participant, coach, volunteer or official will:

 

  • respect every child’s need for, and rights to, participate in an environment where safety, security, praise, recognition and opportunity for taking responsibility are available

  • respect the feelings and views of others

  • recognise that everyone is important and that our differences make each of us special and should be valued

  • show appreciation of others by acknowledging individual qualities, contributions and progress

  • be committed to the early identification of bullying, and prompt and collective action to deal with it

  • ensure safety by having rules and practices carefully explained and displayed for all to see

  • report incidents of bullying they see – by doing nothing you are condoning bullying.

 

Bullying

 

  • all forms of bullying will be addressed

  • everybody in the club/organisation has a responsibility to work together to stop bullying

  • bullying can include online as well as offline behaviour

  • bullying can include:

  • physical pushing, kicking, hitting, pinching etc.

  • name calling, sarcasm, spreading rumours, persistent teasing and emotional torment through ridicule, humiliation or the continual ignoring of individuals

  • posting of derogatory or abusive comments, videos or images on social network sites

  • racial taunts, graffiti, gestures, sectarianism

  • sexual comments, suggestions or behaviour

  • unwanted physical contact

  • children with a disability, from ethnic minorities, young people who are gay or lesbian, or those with learning difficulties are more vulnerable to this form of abuse and are more likely to be targeted

 

Support to the child

 

  • children should know who will listen to and support them

  • systems should be established to open the door to children wishing to talk about bullying or any other issue that affects them

  • potential barriers to talking (including those associated with a child’s disability or impairment) need to be identified and addressed at the outset to enable children to approach adults for help

  • children should have access to Helpline numbers

  • anyone who reports an incident of bullying will be listened to carefully and be supported

  • any reported incident of bullying will be investigated objectively and will involve listening carefully to all those involved

  • children being bullied will be supported and assistance given to uphold their right to play and live in a safe environment which allows their healthy development

  • those who bully will be supported and encouraged to stop bullying

  • sanctions for those bullying others that involve long periods of isolation, or which diminish and make individuals look or feel foolish in front of others, will be avoided.

 

Support to the parents/guardians

 

  • parents/guardians should be advised on the club/organisation’s bullying policy and practice

  • any incident of bullying will be discussed with the child’s parent(s)/guardians

  • parents will be consulted on action to be taken (for both victim and bully) and agreements made as to what action should be taken

  • information and advice on coping with bullying will be made available

  • support should be offered to the parent(s) including information on other agencies or support lines.

Codes of conduct for parents and carers

​

As parents you are expected to:

  • Positively reinforce your child and show an interest in their chosen activity.

  • Do not place your child under pressure or push them into activities they do not want to do.

  • Complete and return the Registration, Medical and Consent Form pertaining to your child's participation with Ladybird School of Gymnastics.

  • Deliver and collect your child punctually before and after sessions

  • Ensure your child has clothing and kit appropriate to the session

  • Detail any relevant medical concerns or conditions pertaining to their child on the registration/consent form. Any changes in the state of the child's health should be reported to the coach staff prior to the activity.

  • To inform the organiser prior to the activity starting if your child is to be collected early.

  • Encourage your child to play by the rules, and teach them that they can only do their best.

  • Ensure that your child understands their code of conduct.

  • Behave responsibly do not embarrass your child.

  • Show appreciation and support the coach staff.

  • Ensure your child is punctual.

  • Be realistic and supportive.

  • Promote your child’s participation in sport for fun.

 

As a parents/carer you have the right to:

  • Be assured that your child is safeguarded during their participation in sport.

  • Be informed of problems or concerns relating to your children.

  • Be informed if your child is injured.

  • Have your consent sought for issue such as trips or photography.

  • Have any concerns about any aspect of your child’s welfare listened to responded to.

 

Any breaches of this code of conduct will be dealt with immediately by a Ladybird School of Gymnastics official. Persistent concerns or breaches may result in you being asked not to attend sessions if your attendance is considered detrimental to the welfare of young participants.

The ultimate action should a parent/guardian continue to breach the code of behaviour may be the Ladybird School of Gymnastics officials regrettably asking your child to leave the session/club.

Code of conduct for children and young people

​

Ladybird School of Gymnastics  are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with Jastine Davis and Head coach in writing via email to ladybirdschoolsgymnastics@gmail.com

 

Sports clubs should offer a positive experience for children and young people and where they can learn new things in a safe and positive environment.

​

As a member of Ladybird School of Gymnastics, you are expected to abide by the following junior code of practice:

​

Children and young people are expected to:

​

  • Be loyal and give their friends a second chance.

  • Be friendly and particularly welcoming to new members.

  • Be supportive and committed to other team members, offer comfort when required.

  • Keep yourself safe.

  • Report inappropriate behaviour or risky situations for youth members.

  • Play fairly and be trustworthy.

  • Respect officials and accept decisions.

  • Show appropriate loyalty and be gracious in defeat.

  • Respect opponents.

  • Not cheat or be violent and aggressive.

  • Make your club a place to be.

  • Keep within the defined boundary of the coaching area.

  • Behave and listen to all instructions from the coach. Participate within the rules and respect the official and their decisions.

  • Show respect to other youth members.

  • Take care of equipment owned by the club.

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background or religious beliefs or sexual identity.

  • Refrain from the use of bad language or racial/sectarian references. This includes bullying using new technologies like chat-rooms or texting.

  • Not get involved in inappropriate peer pressure and push others into something they do not want to do.

  • Refrain from bullying or persistent use of rough and dangerous play.

  • Keep to agreed timings for training and competitions or inform their coach or team manager if they are going to be late.

  • Wear suitable kit; for training as agreed with the coach.

  • Pay any fees for training or events promptly. Lateness of payment may result in loss of place.

  • Not smoke on club premises or whilst representing the club at competitions.

  • Not consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club premises or whilst representing the club.

 

 

Children / Young People have the right to:

​

  • Be safe and happy in their chosen activity.

  • Be listened to.

  • Be respected and treated fairly.

  • Privacy.

  • Enjoy your sport in a protective environment.

  • Be referred to professional help if needed.

  • Be protected from abuse by other member or outside sources.

  • Participate on an equal basis, appropriate to their ability.

  • Experience competition and the desire to win.

  • Be believed.

  • Ask for help.

  • Have any concerns taken seriously and acted on.

 

Any minor misdemeanours and general misbehaviour will be addressed by the coach and reported verbally to the designated person. More serious or persistent misbehaviour may result in disciplinary action and potentially dismissal from the club. Parents will be informed at all stages.

Disciplinary action can be appealed to the coach with final decisions taken by the club.

MEMBERSHIP, BOOKINGS AND LISTING DETAILS

​

Memberships are ongoing once enrolled in a class your space is guaranteed until cancelled. 

 

From month to month and term to term there are minor changes to those enrolled.

 

Most movement happens in August/September and at the end of each month.

 

New bookings are then given to those on the current waiting list.

 

If you join the waiting list now you will be on it for the new term.
